About California Elementary


Welcome to California Elementary School, a K-6 public school in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District, the home of the BEARS! We are located at 1111 California Avenue, in the beautiful city of La Puente, California.
California Elementary School's purpose and mission is to prepare all students for college and/or post secondary education and for life as productive citizens. As scholars, our students are problem solving, critical thinking and goal setting citizens who are life long learners!
Description at California Elementary School, we strive for proficiency and beyond for every student.

Vision for Students: We provide a challenging learning environment and a place where kids want to come! We promote pride in self, school and community. Students are always excited about learning and engaged through interactive lessons. We are all learning through student/student, student/teacher, teacher/te...acher collarboration and students reflect on the learning process and goals and progress towards meeting learning targets.

Vision for Teachers: Teachers provide a positive and productive learning environment for students and parents. They are involved in PLC collaboration and teamwork through their grade levels and school wide. Teachers provide a supportive environment for all and daily feedback is given. There is constant reflection on teaching practice to promote and support student learning on a daily basis.

School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

California public schools annually provide information about themselves to the community allowing the public to evaluate and compare school for student achievement, environment, resources and demographics.
